Pre-Nuptial and

Post-Nuptial Agreements

A prenuptial agreement is a contractual agreement made between prospective spouses before marring wherein parties spell out how assets will be distributed in the event of divorce or death.

For a prenuptial agreement to be enforceable, Alabama law requires that both parties fully disclose all of their existing assets and liabilities to one another.

A post-nuptial agreement allows married couples to establish how their assets and property will be divided in the event of divorce or death, whether they are thinking about divorce or not.

Our experienced Family lawyers can guide you and your spouse through this process with compassion and understanding for your pre-nuptial or post-nuptial needs.
